This man is unsellable.
So it looks like New Labour’s reign is over and we are about to see the Tories back in the seat .
One could point to certain short-comings in Gordon Brown’s political skills (amongst other things this slick, bullet-dodging manoeuvre when he apologised for the Damian McBride smear-emails: I take full responsibility for what happened and that’s why the person who was responsible went immediately…) but the real obstacle between him and an election win is his lack of bullshit-factor: a futile attempt at a kind gesture surfaces as a creepy smile like cheese slightly gone off, a constipated display of front-teeth. If Labour wants to win, again, they need serious change in the top. It has all become too tainted, the public is growing too weary. And this man is not going to change that.

Labour is not doing too well these days. Even John Prescott is taking the piss (among other things).
